Fresh from Central PA

Hey all! My name is Steve, I just turned 32, and I'm from the central Pa region. I grew up in Milton Pa, but I am currently living in Sunbury Pa.

I'm here to learn as much as I can about real estate. More specifically, I am interested in wholesaling. Considering my situation, I feel that is the best avenue for me to get started in. Eventually, I would like to get into fix and flip, buy and hold, and land development so that I can pretty much kick back on a beach with a drink in my hand as I watch my son play in the sand, lol. Just kidding on the kicking back part.

Three years ago, I was involved in a work related accident that could have killed me. Fortunately I am alive, but with chronic pain in my lower back, as I have herniated disks/bulging disks/protruding disks, disc degenerative disease and an annular tear. Aka...Sciatic nerve pain from hell.

So aside from the fact that I can no longer do the things I used to do, my motivation to be successful is my son. He is currently one year old and he is my pride and joy. I spent ten years drinking and smoking and just destroying my life, but when he was born, everything changed and now it's time to get serious. I gave up smoking a few days before he was born, I've had a hand fulll of beers in the last year, and now it's time to earn some money to provide for my little boy.

Currently where I am at in the real estate world is this... I got my business set up. I'm ready to rock and roll. I just need investors, deals, and people I can learn from over the years.
