Hello BP community! My name is Jacob Nunn.  I'm from and currently live in the Rock Hill, SC area (about 30 minutes South of Charlotte, NC).  My background is accounting and finance (specifically tax accounting).  I'm pretty early on in my real estate education process.

I actually came across BP while listening to the Radical Personal Finance podcast.  I'm currently in the process of trying to soak up as much information as I can via the BP podcast, webcasts, blog, and various real estate books (currently reading Building Wealth One House at a Time by John Schaub).

My wife and I have a infant son, and I'm really wanting to diversify my income with real estate.  Based on what I've learned so far, I'm really leaning towards single family homes using the Buy and Hold method (also potentially open to multifamily as well).  I'm still trying to learn the basics, so I haven't been able to determine yet what strategy works best in my market, but I'm really looking forward to discovering that as I continue to learn.  I'm really viewing real estate as a long term method to help generate additional cash flow and financial security.

Looking forward to talking with all of you! Thanks.
