New member from Virginia Tech

Hello everyone, I am a Finance student at Virginia Tech expecting to graduate this winter. While working my summer internship, entering data for 50 hours a week, I discovered that Corporate Finance may not be the career path for me. I discovered bigger pockets while researching other possible careers and it peaked my interest. After listening to the podcasts and reading the blogs and books I developed a passion to increase my knowledge about real estate so I am ready to begin my career after I graduate. My current goals are to increase my knowledge about real estate through classes at Virginia Tech, all the amazing information offered on this site and in the books it recommends. I am seeking employment/mentorship for after graduation to continue enhancing my knowledge and be ready to start investing as soon as possible.

Hey there, welcome!  I graduated from VT back in 96 and live down in FL now.  Oddly enough, keeping my eye out for deal in the blacksburg area as well.
