My brother recently passed away July 2, 2016. He was intellectually disabled and lived on his own in an apartment complex across town with other disabled adults. I wanted him closer to me but was unable to find suitable housing for him. I came across the book Rich Dad, Poor Dad shortly after his death and unlocked my purpose. I'm going to provide housing for intellectually disabled adults and veterans. Independence is an ingredient for confidence and my brother was full of it! He refused to let his disabilities hinder his life because he needed his independence to feel somewhat "normal". I will help others like my brother to live on their own.
