I just joined here in the last few days after discovering bigger pockets in my real estate self education.

I did some real estate buy and hold in 2005 in California which didn't turn out so well. I'm re-educating myself and looking to get back in to investing.

My current business plan is to purchase to buy and hold only.

I'm looking at potential to buy and hold using turnkey properties out of state in markets like Indianapolis, Kansas City, Birmingham and others where the capital costs are lower than CA.

I'd also like to invest in my local area if I can find good deals. So, if you know any savvy investment real estate agents or wholesale dealers on the Central Coast of California please let me know. I'd be interested in investing in Paso Robles, Atascadero, Morro Bay, San Luis Obispo, Pismo Beach, Arroyo Grande, Oceano, Nipomo and Santa Maria.

Cheers! Looking forward to engaging with you all.

Kudos to you for not letting a bad experience turn you away from real estate!  We do wholesaling in Kansas City if you're also looking here.  Otherwise, wish you the best of luck in your endeavors!
