I'm currently in New Brunswick Canada. I have 7 years experience building new homes and renovating old homes in the Toronto area before returning to New Brunswick.

I have a day job but am taking up a path of real estate investing for the long term on the side. 

The model I'm working under is Buy/Rehab/Rent/Refinance/Repeat.

I currently have a house under purchase contract/owner financed and have been repairing it. It still needs some rehab but I'm short on working capitol. My end goal for the property is to have a 2 unit rental. There is a lot of opportunity here for this type of investment.

I would be interested in meeting people in my area to partner up with or finance my endeavors.

Any BP link related to what I'm doing would be appreciated.

@Roy N. - I was just in Freddy - I can't believe I didn't let you know.....wasn't thinking!    Hope all is well.   I would agree @Avery Pemberton-Smith - be leery of the 'awesome' deals you see.....especially in St. John - there is high vacancy there and some people I know have had some issues with every facet of investing there.....that being said, i'm sure there are awesome deals too.   I'm from Nova Scotia - and find that there are some excellent deals here as welll.....as Roy said, Hfx is the only highly appreciating area, but there are some excellent cash-flow areas for sure.
