Drinking from the firehose--from Seattle, WA

Hi All,

I'm new to BiggerPockets.  I've been learning a lot over the past couple of months about rental real estate.  I'm interested in building a portfolio of rental properties.  From what I've learned so far from podcasts, this site, books, etc., turn-key properties (likely in other markets since the Seattle area really isn't a buyer's market at the moment) are most likely the best fit for me.

I'm a partner of another business, and am looking to regular income from rental properties that do not require a lot of my time...I already have a full time job to manage!

If there are others in the Seattle area who are interested in getting together and learning together (I'm sure there are a lot of pitfalls to avoid as a newbie), I'm interested in hearing from you.

Looking forward to learning from the community!

Cheers,
Paul
