I am currently located in Melbourne, Australia.I'm a real estate investor currently involved in the Northern Indiana area (Hammond, East Chicago, and surrounds). I am looking to expand my real estate portfolio and connect with other investors, both in Australia and the United States!

I own my home here in Melbourne Australia, free and clear. I owned an investment property in Brisbane Australia for three years and eventually sold it back in 2010, due to the fact that it was negatively cash flowed and I lost my job due to illness so was unable to keep up the payments. I now invest in the USA as it's easier to find positive cash flow deals, and the lower entry price makes it a lot easier to get involved! I purchased my first rental property in the states in 2013, a 2Br, 1bath single family home in Hammond, IN.

I am currently involved in wholesaling as a means to build up my cash reserves in order to be able to purchase more rental properties. Ultimately I would like to be able to generate over $3000 per month in passive income, which would be enough to cover my living expenses and allow me to become financially independent.

Looking forward to getting involved in the Bigger Pockets community! :)

Sarah.
