Hello everyone....

I am just getting started with my husband (newly married) in researching the real estate investing business. My husband lives and breathes by forums and he helped me find BP. So, here I am!!! With the knowledge that money can be made with a lot of hardwork, business smarts and determination in this industry...I'm ready to learn the ropes. We both have always been very interested and passionate about real estate and I know that we can be succesful. I have a degree in marketing, management and entrepreneurship from Baylor and have worked in 'corporate America' for the last 8 years in marcom for the O&G industry; however, I have yet to feel 'satisfied' with slow moving pace that it dictates. I'm ready to work for #1...ME!!!

I haven't figured out the best niche for the Houston market yet....it is such a large city with still a lot of land and hundreds of new homes going up everyday. My husband and I really like the idea of long-term investing with rental properties, but also would like to try out hand at rehabbing with renting a plan B. Now, its just learning how to compete in the industry, find the deals early and make some profits!

I look forward to learning from all of you. This is a great site!!!
