New member from Texas

Hi y'all,

I'm from Texas and been highly interested in getting into real estate investing for quite some time now.  It has only been a thought in the back of my mind for a few years that has been slowly pushed to the forefront.  Bigger Pockets has been a major catalyst in getting me to actual consider taking action on entering the industry.  I've always been entrepreneurial, starting a couple of my own companies in college, but have found myself caught in cubicle life the last few years and I need a change.

I've been involved in the construction side of the industry when I had my painting company or when I supervised a demolition company as a project manager.  I'm excited to continue to learn from BP and hoping to have my first deal started by this time next year.  Posting my goal here now: Deal 1 started before July 2017
