Hi Everyone,

I've been lurking around here for a while now, trying to take in as much as possible.  I'm new to the real estate investment arena and itching to get my first deal.

My primary, initial plan is to focus on smaller multi-family units perhaps with the occasional flip here, mainly buy and hold along with BRRRR. As with most new investors, I don't have lots of money or access to private or hard money lenders...yet!

My wife and I live in Sarasota, FL...a great little city on the west coast of Florida.  We both work full time jobs and certainly enjoy our fun time on the weekends.  Our long -term goal is to have a nice portfolio of homes that have mostly been paid off by the time we retire where we can sell them outright or through seller financing.  The short-term goal is to build that portfolio while generating a nice cash flow so that we can enjoy our years until retirement.  At least those are the goals now.

I've been reading a lot of blog articles and listening to podcasts on my way to and from work ( I work an hour+ away ).  Trying to get as much knowledge as I can to snap myself out of analysis paralysis and make that first purchase.  Glad to be hear and looking forward to making some great connections!

Thanks!

Christian
