Hello everyone! I found this site while doing a search on information about some foreclosure websites. Trying to find out if they are a scam or not.

I am new to the real estate world, but have always had a big interest in renovating and flipping properties. I am a web developer and know a lot about that, but when it comes to this new real estate venture... it's this whole new world to me.

I am hoping to get a lot of useful information here that will help me get started and continue to help me grow. I have never been able to do this until now and I am ready to get the ball rolling.

I am not 100% sure how or where I want to start. I have several interests. Primarily buying and selling foreclosure/sherriff sale/etc properties that possibly need some work (I have to start out at the bottom for now). I am curious about the auctions, but have no idea how it all works.

I am starting to use the web for my research, but everything is flooding with advertising and spam garbage. You can't tell anymore what is ligitimate. So this is just my hello and I will find more specific forums to ask all my questions in.
