From South Africa, looking for turn key investments overseas

Hello everyone!

I'm a moderately experienced property investor with some rentals props (and a small property management company) here in South Africa.

I'm originally from Europe, but have been living here in sunny South Africa since 2003. I love the country and its people, but it's still very much a developing nation, and living here is definitely riskier than in first world countries.

Our local currency - the Rand - has taken quite a hit in recent years, and with the emergence of the Economic Freedom Fighters (a far left political party, who basically want to nationalise the economy), I reckon it's a good time to look at investment opportunities overseas and establish a bit of a safety net for our family.

For now, I'm specifically interested in turn key investments. Not too fussed where, as long as it's in a developed country with a stable currency.

Just started out on Biggerpockets, and I look forward to learning a lot from the community, and hopefully I can contribute a bit as well.

Cheers,

Steven
