College Seeking Advice to Set a Stepping Stone

Hi All,

During the course of 2 years at UCR, I've gained some experience in sales and marketing through the ownership of a product limited liability company and as a sales management intern at PepsiCo. One day, there was a spark of inspiration and interests in the real estate industry when I read Rich Dad Poor Dad on how an inexperienced man flipped his life from rags to riches by flipping foreclosed houses. Of course his mindset lied on passion and ambition. Lately, I've been thinking about how I can enhance my income after college and gain experience before graduating. So, I wanted to ask several questions:

- While attending college, what are some ways to initiate my first steps into the real estate industry in regards to studying, obtaining licenses, networking, saving, flipping and selling houses, etc...?

- Are there any classes I must take to advance my starting position in the residential/commercial real estate industry?

- With about 10k in my bank account, what are some investments I can make to see some returns? (I'm aware of potential risks)

- Any position you recommend me to work during college to get the taste of the general real estate industry?

Any advice pertaining to these questions would be greatly appreciated. Admittedly, I'm completely new to this topic, but I am driven to further expand my knowledge in this field with YOUR help. Thank you so much in advance!
