Dedicated, Motivated, Ethical NEWBIE investor from Ohio
Hello!
Kevin Thomas here from northern Ohio area! I am completely new to the real estate game. I have done hours upon hours of research and reading about real estate for the better part of a year now. I finally took the plunge and in about 2 weeks I will be a fully licensed real estate agent! With that being said I haven't even scrapped the surface of real estate. I am hoping with creating a BiggerPockets account I can grow my network as well as my education level here.
A quick bio about me (very quick) I am 23 years old, a veteran, a father of 2 and married to the most beautiful woman inside and out. I am a very hard worker, very dedicated to my work, and value family over all else. I live by a code of ethics instilled into me at a young age. I plan on working in real estate with these same values. Integrity is the best quality in a man, over any amount of experience or education.
I am currently employed full time. I am looking to get into real estate in a number of ways as soon as possible. I have humored the ideas as to being a full time real estate agent, as well as a wholesaler. Without a doubt in my mind I KNOW I will be successful in Real Estate. However, I understand it is a crawl, walk, run career field. I am NOT expecting to be a millionaire overnight. I am NOT expecting to work 5 hours a week and net 100k a year.
I am expecting long hours, 7 days a week, with little return on my investments in the beginning. I am here hoping to create a network of people in the Ohio area. I am also here to here EVERYONES 2 cents about how to get into real estate and slowly becoming self sufficient on it. I am open to EVERY idea from ANYONE of ANY experience level in real estate as well. I hope to make great contacts here in Ohio, as well as hopefully creating lifelong partnerships. Thank you all for any response :)
