Distressed Porperties

I have been investing in albany, ny and the surrounding area for a few years now. I originally was buying homes off of the MLS listings but recently I have been buying distressed properties and fixing them up and holding on to them.

my question: What is the best way to find pre forclosure and forclosed properities? I have been looking at HUBZO/HOMEPATH and sites like that. Is there another way to get a list of forclosed properties? I see pay sites claim to list many more distressed homes, but do they really have that much more to offer?

Welcome to BP @Seth Martin. realtytrac.com has some information on preforeclosures.
