Hello, my husband and I have been talking about getting in the RE business, so I went to the Fortune Builders 3day seminar in Tampa. Now the information was great but I knew it would lead to more money that we don't have, so after day one I began searching the web and I stumbled to this site and my eyes opened so wide and I love what I see.
A little background, I've worked in the public sector for 30 years, but I cannot retire because Of my age, but I want to do something else and I want to leave our kids a legacy.
I'm a newbie and I want to jump right in it. It seems like wholesaling is a great start so anyone in the Tampa Bay Area that can assist me I would appreciate it

Tons of info here on Bigger Pockets. I am not a fan of the seminars put on by companies like that as the information is not really an accurate representation of real world investment. They tend to play on your emotions so they can sell you the secret to getting rich overnight. There is not secret. It's all about hard work and using your knowledge, competitive advantages and existing connections to grind out a slow and steady profit. I recommend giving these two articles a read as you get started navigating the site.
