Excited new member from Westchester County, NY

Hello BP community!

My name is Elvin Garcia from Westchester County, NY and I am brand new to the BP community. I am new to the exciting world of real estate investing. For the past 6 months I have read books, online blogs and internet articles about real estate investing and all the opportunities it can bring. The more I learned about REI the more I started to love it. I have attended a 3 day bootcamp thinking this would be the best way to learn, but only walked away with a bad taste in my mouth, but my love for REI was still there. This lead me to the BiggerPockets community and podcasts. The wealth of information in here is incredible and can't wait to start learning and building relationships within the community.

I am a graphic designer from the advertising world and I am also a certified sports nutritionist who is looking to add REI to my area of expertise to provide a better future for my family.

I am excited to be a part of the community and look forward to meeting some great people with like minded interests and learn from some great investors.
