Hello All! I am Justin Skaggs from Jackson, Ohio. I am fairly new to the REI game and have been fortunate to be able to secure four single family units and a commercial unit that I recently sold after rehab. I am looking to expand my investing with a focus on multifamily properties. Unfortunately, multifamily properties are scarce in my immediate area and I suffer from paralysis when attempting to determine the integrity of an unfamiliar market. However, multifamily investing will require me to look outside of my comfort area. So, any advice or suggestions in that regard would be much appreciated.

I have been eyeballing an area approximately an hour from my hometown with amazing, or potentially disastrous, opportunities and am hoping to get some help with that decision.  I am in a position to move forward with my next investment but am struggling with which direction to take.
