Hi everyone! My name is Heather and I'm just getting started with REI. I currently own a SFR free and clear (thanks to a nice insurance settlement) and plan to move out and rent it this summer. My next purchase will be a house-hacked duplex financed with an FHA loan. I have access to the VA loan but due to my lack of landlord experience, I'm going to hang onto it until I can meet the requirements for buying a 4-plex with anticipated rent income included. And the house hacking will continue...
Lots of exciting things in my future and I wouldn't have thought it was possible without all the wonderful education and advice I've received so far from BP. I'm so glad to be a part of this community! Looking forward to learning more from you all.
