The Beginning of my Real Estate Journey

This year I plan on buying my first home with my sister in the neighborhood we grew up in. The neighborhood is nestled in between a few booming areas and has lots of development surrounding it. With that being said it has had its fair share of crime and violence alongside renters who lack pride in their neighborhood. My goal is simple: To increase the property value of the community and have some control of the characters that inhabit it. This is my first step and I know my vision is ambitious. I'm here to connect with those who are able to supply expertise and guidance so that my first steps into the world of owning property is not in vain. I'm seeking information on what NOT to do, and what I MUST do if I want to have a chance at at being successful.
