Newbie from Windsor Mill, MD. Interest in Baltimore investing.
Hello BP!
My name is Karel Sinclair and I currently reside in Windsor Mill, MD. I am a newbie to real estate investing and come with absolutely no experience or money. I am starting from the beginning and would love some guidance on where and how to begin. I’ve been reading the free eBook and so far I think my interest right now would be wholesaling single family homes in the Baltimore area. I would eventually want to work my way up to flipping and I do have the intention of getting my real estate license but it’s so expensive right now. Anyways, I found this site after doing some research on a free seminar I attended. I think it may possibly have been a scam or rather just a waste of money but I digress. I was excited to find this site; it seems chock full of information but most importantly people wanting to help. I’m ready to get started and committed to making this work not just for me but also for my family. I know it’ll be hard work and from what I’ve read and heard wholesaling may be a simple concept but not easy to do. I’m going to need all the help and support this site appears to provide. Welcome and good luck getting started. There are a lot of great people here on BP and locally in Baltimore who are very generous with their time and knowledge. Do some networking on here and in person and you'll quickly get a feel for who's out there doing it.
You hit the nail on the head when you said that "wholesaling may be a simple concept but not easy to do" - it can be a grind but a prosperous one if you stick with it.
