[Bruce Jackson]

My name is Bruce Jackson. I'm from Ohio. I work in the Transportation Industry. I became interested in the housing industry back in 2008 when my parents home was being bought out by a university. At that point, I started helping them look for a house and the housing industry peaked my interest. Fast forward 6 yrs. to 2014--I began looking at community colleges for real estate courses. I came across a community college that held the classes and I completed the course and found out later that it would be challenging being an agent and an investor. My interest was towards the investment side. I signed up for a 6 weeks investment course and came across The Bigger Pockets Website. The site really peaked my interest because of the vast amount of info. and the community is so big. I would like to find a mentor in the Bigger Pockets Community. I am looking forward to starting a new chapter in my life and transition from the transportation industry to the real estate industry.
