New Wholesaler
Aloha All!!!
New to BP. Heard some good things!!! Looking to get into wholesaling here on Oahu. Any tips or advice would be much appreciated. Mahalo

Aloha, @Sean Ortiz. Welcome to BP and the Hawaii investing scene. You're in a great market for real estate! I got started out wholesaling myself. Here are a few quick tips to get up and running:
1) Read a lot of materials here on BP. Pick up the getting started guide and dive in.
2) Spend time on Zillow and Trulia looking at the local market sales and how it differs between areas. Hawaii Kai is not Waianae, as you know, but really familiarize yourself with the actual numbers.
3) Get a buyers list up and running first. That will make it easier to monetize the seller leads you come across and negotiate. If not, then you've spent resources locking up a deal while then having to scramble to find a buyer.
4) Visit the monthly HiREI meetings and build your network -- lenders, buyers, landlords, realtors, title officers, contractors, etc.
5) The key to marketing is consistency, so whatever marketing campaign you choose to find motivated sellers, stick with it even if you don't get immediate results.
