Hello to BiggerPockets community.

Few years ago I decided to invest part of my lifesaving in real estate.  Through work, I came across a broker in Naples, FL who encouraged me and my co-workers to buy condos down there.  I blindly bought two properties and to make the story short, both of them finally went into foreclosure last year.  I lost most of my lifesavings!!!!

After working for 20 years as a full and part time bookkeeper for different companies, I finally decided to pursue my true passion, real estate.  I recently received my real estate salesperson license and joined a brokerage in New York City.  I mainly like to get involve in the commercial aspect of real estate but because of my past experience I do not have much confidence in advising other people to invest with me.

By joining BiggerPocket, I hope that I can educate myself and be able to become successful in the field of real estate and investing in it.
