Derrick has been in real estate for six years. Before embarking on a career in real estate, Derrick served his country honorably for nine years in the United States Navy supervising young aviation electronics technicians. 

After transitioning from the military to civilian life, Derrick brought his advanced electronic, supervisory and management skills in various supervisory and management roles.

Most recently, Derrick managed over 500 properties via a third party property manager network covering 13 states for a national property management company. In this role Derrick learned the ins/outs of the property management industry interacting with many different property managers small and large. The knowledge gained during those four years of managing properties and property managers and the invaluable skills learned while in the Navy will lend greatly to Morris Green Properties and it's client owners and tenants.
