Hello REI community! I look forward to networking with everyone and gaining valuable information. I am a complete newbie with absolutely no background or experience in real estate at all. Like many others I was drawn to the opportunity of investing in real estate because of the possibility of obtaining financial freedom.

It all started with an advertisement on my Facebook newsfeed to attend a 3 day seminar on how to invest in real estate without using  your own money. Since I don't have much that was very intriguing. I paid the $2000 for the course and now here I am just trying to build a network of support and to learn all that I can.

Since I don't have a lot of my own funds to begin with my plan was to start with assignments (or is bird dogging what I should call it) where I match wholesale homes for sale with potential buyers and just take an assignment fee. Once I've made enough money from these I'd like to move on to wholesaling, where I actually buy the property at a low price and sell low, and from there move on to actually rehabbing my own homes for bigger profits.  The sky's the limit really, but I'm starting out with baby steps. Any advice would be much appreciated.
