Hello everyone. My name's Walter. I currently have three rental properties (one in Virginia and two in Nebraska). I'll be acquiring another future rental when I transfer to Florida in the near future. I'm active duty military and I purchase homes to live in while stationed in various places then rent them out when I transfer.

Being military allows me to have access to great financing options thorough the VA and other military lenders so I've never put any money down on the three rental properties that I own. Pretty good deal if you ask me. I hope to acquire a large enough real estate empire to be able to match my retirement check with passive income by the time I step away from the Navy.

I just stumbled across this site while researching various investing options and it seemed like a great fountain of wisdom so I thought I’d sign up and join in.
