Hi BP!

Excited to be a part of this community. There is so much to learn!

A little about me - I'm a twenty-something based on Long Island, NY.  I was a Psych grad and recently finished up my Masters while doing some teaching, but have been finding the rest of academia a bit tedious to say the least. I know my goal in the long run is to generate as much passive income as possible so I started thinking, "why not just get started now?". I see my friends' careers blossoming and as happy as I am for them, the thought of completing school and heading to a 9-5 is dreadful.

Over the last six years I've been slowly sucked into real estate by my wonderful partner-in-crime-and-all-things and am finally catching the bug. We are in the process of getting our first two rental properties (using OPM) out in PA where we both went to school and played sports (Lafayette and Lehigh. I know, go figure) and the outlook is good! Starting with student rentals. Her family has been in real estate for over thirty years and she grew up with it so we have tons of support (which is actually how I learned of BP!) and knowledge at our disposal. Father-in-law, Terry Lewis, is an expert in seller-financing and has also helped us get into both performing and non-performing notes.

I'm truly impressed with what BP has been able to do, connecting so many professionals and up and comers and providing sooo many resources, especially in creating a place where it's so easy to ask questions. Here's to making the best of opportunities!

Stay frosty, BP
