Hello All: Military Alaska Newbie in New York looking forward to Florida Beaches

Hi everyone!

My name is Amanda and like the title says I am a total newbie. Grew up in Fairbanks, Alaska. Recently moved to upstate New York.

I work at a credit union on the army post here and am considering a career move more towards mortgage originator or financial planner.

I think Alaska and New York are beautiful but I dream of settling down with my family somewhere sunny down south like Florida. My parents live in Daytona Beach.

My current goal is to learn as much as I can about real estate investing by using resources such as bigger pockets.

Ever since listening to Rich Dad Poor Dad I am convinced real estate will be a major part of my future.

If I could ask anyone for advice I would ask what were the books/resources that helped you learn the most?

Great to be here!
