Is PT RE Agent worth it? Boston, MA

Good day, I just passed my real estate license test back in October 2015. My first passion is fitness, I'm a NSCA-CPT., USAW Performance Coach, nationally recognized personal trainer, post rehab specialist, certified Kettle bell & TRX Suspension Training instructor, motivational speaker and author. I strongly feel my skill sets are transferable to this industry & have a desire to learn from the best. I want to provide the best service possible while growing professionally. I'm noticing that most brokers want full time only. Has anyone ever started as part time then transitioned? Any feedback is greatly appreciated. I'm also open to books or relative tools that are important for this industry. Julio
