Hello,

I am a new member here on bigger pockets. I am looking to learn, connect, and work with people in the central NC region (I'm in Mebane, but drive as far as Raleigh and Greensboro). I am tackling the initial steps of learning about investing by taking one or two challenges a month and trying to get those done. This month, its learn and meet possible team members (broker, agent, contractor, etc) and read at least one investment book.

As an overall plan, I have broke it down in phases.

Phase 1: Educate and prepare. Pay off all current debt, save cash

Phase 2: Invest in rentals to build cash flow and learn.

Phase 3: Invest in flips to gain access to larger sums of cash at once.

Phase 4: Quit my job.

Phase 5: Get on bigger pockets podcast.

No idea if any of this will actually work, and no plan survives contact with the enemy, but I gotta start somewhere.

Give me a shout if you want to network or have any advice. I'm open to anything so don't be shy.
