New to BiggerPockets - from Minnesota

Hey everyone, 

I just joined this site a couple days ago. I am entirely new to real estate, currently I work as a controls engineer. My reason for joining is that I want to learn more about how I could either flip homes and/or have rental properties. 

I currently own a home, I'm going to school full time at night and I work full time. My main hobby is racing motorcycles and when I'm not racing I like to go biking, snowboarding, fishing, working on my car/motorcycle, airbrushing, drawing and I would like to do more woodworking/metal fab builds. 

It would be great to meet some people in the Minneapolis area that are experienced with flipping homes and owning rental properties.
