Getting close to retirement age and we are wanting to build an investment property business that will provide us with:

a. Self-employment

b. Decent income

c. Tax advantages

d. Something to pass on to our daughter in case she wants to change careers later

We are thinking single-family or small multi-family properties in the East Valley. Most likely buy and hold.

We understand the need to build a team; buyers agents, contractors, property managers, etc...

Looking forward to combing through the posts here and getting my feet wet.
