Hello from Haverhill, MA

Hello Everyone,

My name is Adam Hathaway and I am from Haverhill, MA.  I have a wife and 3 young boys that keep me busy.  I am a veteran of Operation Enduring Freedom and a full time manager at a large medical device manufacturer.

I am currently on my 3rd home in the past 13 years and therefore have some knowledge on home purchasing and selling for live in homes.  These 3 homes have all taught me some really important real estate lessons.

My goal as an investor is to eventually generate enough income to leave my 9-5.  I seek the freedom of not being tied to an employer working a 9-5.  Ideally I would like to own rental property and I am currently seeking my first deal.  Long term I would like to establish a business that my children could work in, and eventually inherit(should they chose), or at least cash out on.  

Once established I will be looking to establish a non-profit that does community beatification projects and helps distressed home-owners that fall on hard time.  In addition I hope to be able to mentor and angel invest with young entrepreneurial investors looking to establish themselves in real estate.

In the meantime... On to property #1.  Let the lessons begin.
