Hello out there this feels really weird!

I have sent emails and conversed over the web but not like this.

I am new to investing. I haven't bought a investment property yet.

I live in western ky from what I am gathering this is a very slow market not having a lot of ups and downs.

Anyone in a rural market like this I would love some advice

@Derek Griggs Welcome to Biggerpockets. This is one of the best places to educate yourself on real estate. If you haven't done so yet, you might want to read Beginners Guide to Investing also, check out some of the Podcasts.  You might also want to fill out the keyword alerts (top right side under your profile pic)

Also, you may want to upload a pic of yourself to your profile, it just looks more personal. If you don't want to put a personal pic, maybe one of a local attraction or landmark.

If your market is really slow, you might want to look at other areas, etc. There's also options to invest in other peoples deas such as on ifunding, and some of the other crowdfunding sites. However; make sure you talk to people that have used those sites and check everything out.

Have fun! Good luck. Don't be shy about posting questions. Everyone is helpful, and there are no stupid questions!
