Hi all!

I am Dennis. As the title states I am from Boston, Massachusetts. I am currently a Real Estate agent and am fascinated with all of the aspects of the real estate investment world. So much so in fact I am tailoring my major to focus on Real estate investment. I have not done any investing yet, but I plan to (of course). I am just very cautious and am doing as much research as I can before I make any moves.

I have enjoyed listening to the pod casts and reading the articles. I look forward to devouring as much material as I can. Thanks for having me, I look forward to interacting and hopefully meeting awesome, like minded people!

Hi Dennis, welcome to BP.

This is a great place to learn. Make sure to listen to all the BP podcasts, read the articles on the main blog and be active in these forums to learn a ton very quickly about any topic in real estate you want to know more about.

This is also a great place to meet people that can be assets to your business. Lots of great connections all over but we also have a very strong and active contingent here in MA on here so make sure to find them (Set up some keyword alerts to find out about local topics) and get connected.

Besides doing that on here make sure to get out to some of the many local investor events we have. South of Boston you will find several meetings. There is the Eastern Mass REIA in Rockland with a 2nd meeting in Taunton. The South Shore REIA on the Cape. There is a meetup in Plymouth run by BP author @Mike LaCava that I have heard good things about.  Going North the Black Diamond meeting in Waltham is great (2nd location in Worcester).  Lots more if you are willing to get north of the city, but this is a good start.  :)
