As BiggerPockets is first and foremost a community, I thought it might be nice to make new members feel more welcome here! With that in mind we're going to try out a new concept for our forums, contests:

Welcome New Members Contest[/b]
Contest Rules:
1. This contest begins today, Friday, October 5, 2007 and ends on Friday, October 12, 2007 at Midnight, PST.
2. To participate in this contest, all you need to do is welcome posters who have introduced themselves in the New Member Introductions forum. This means engaging these new members and the others who have welcomed these members in a conversation, not simply posting "Hello" or "Welcome to the site" . . . you must put at least a little thought into your posts.
3. You must have welcomed at least 10 new members to the forum during the period in which the contest is going on.
4. That's all!

Contest Prizes:[/b]
- We will select 2 members at random who have met all of the above criteria to win a BiggerPockets.com T-Shirt.
- We will select 1 member who we feel has contributed the most to the New Member Introductions forum over this period to win a BiggerPockets.com Hooded Sweatshirt
This is the first of many contests to come! We will be giving away more prizes in future contests.
NOTE If you're interested in possibly sponsoring future contests, let us know. We're always looking for bigger and better prizes to give away!

1 - We're focused on getting the next generation website together . . . almost all of my time and energy is going into that right now.
2 - We have not gotten donations (I haven't really been active in trying to get any)
Give it a few weeks and I hope to have something for everyone then!

Sorry it took so long for the pic. Yesterday I was able to wear it proudly to a couple of places. I probably should have taken the shot outside. Anyway.... Can't wait to use it in a sponsorship contest.
