Hello everyone!

My name is Jacob Vargo, I'm 25 and extremely excited to begin my journey into the real estate investing business. As of now I have little to no experience in REI but I am definitely ready and willing to learn to change that. I am Union Carpenter currently working for McBride and Sons framing new homes. As much as I appreciate the hands-on knowledge and experience I am gaining, I do realize building brand new homes is not what I will want to do for the rest of my days. What truly interests me, is the home renovations/remodeling aspect, for instance I would love to take an older, distressed property that others would not dare to go near, and roll my sleeves up and do a full reno to where buyers are knocking down the door to get their hands on. Just to be able to stand back and look at the before pictures and then what it has been transformed into is what I thoroughly enjoy. I'm not entering this REI business to get rich, because the completed projects would be the true pay-off, but I would however like to make a decent living by working/investing full-time. I just have no clue on where to start, and BP seems like a very knowledgeable and helpful community to belong to. The forums and podcasts are very informative and inspiring and I cant wait to dig deeper into this community of like-minded people. Thanks for the opportunity and listening to me ramble on. I really look forward to speaking with a lot of you.
