Newbie landlord eager to learn from Dunedin, FL

My wife and I finally bought our first rental home the end of March. We are excited but nervous about getting the right tenant.

A little background. I'm an airline pilot and my wife a dental hygienist, looking for some passive income to supplement our regular income. In 5 yrs our goal is at least 10 rental properties earning enough income so my wife can quit her job and handle all of the property management.

I have a little real estate background as a Realtor back in the mid 2000's in NJ, but no experience being a landord. I have already started listening to the podcasts which are providing some great information and motivation for me.

We are looking forward to interacting with the folks here on Bigger Pockets.
