Bay Area Newcomer

Hey BP!

Matt here. I've been listening to the podcast for about a month now and am excited to join the community here online. I have no experience in real estate but have friends and family who have seen success in the industry to the point that I'm ready to get involved myself.

Property here in the bay area is entirely too expensive, so I have been searching for buy and hold opportunities in states adjacent to CA while I continue to educate myself in the tips and tricks of the trade. Specifically, I am looking in college towns where I believe the demand for rental property is more constant than one would find anywhere else. I'm eager to make my first investment with the money I have saved up for a down payment. If anyone reading is doing work in Oregon, Nevada, Arizona, or even Washington, I'd love to chat with you and learn about your experience!

Looking forward to the future and getting to know you.

Matt
