Hello BP Community!

I'm super excited to have found this great community and I am looking forward to attending the April 7th meetup at Pranna in NY.

I am 29 years old and my long term objective is to acquire a few investment properties so I have passive income when I am past 62 years of age.

My goal for 2014 is to purchase a multi-family home or a 4-unit complex within a 2 hour driving radius of New York City that will generate cashflow. My strategy is to buy and hold as I don't have the experience or available time to rehab properties. I have a full time job so I want to start small and build up.

I recently started listening to the podcast which is absolutely phenomenal compared to all those guru's that promise the world and beyond. I'm looking to learn as much as possible and I would appreciate any advice on what areas around NYC to look into, what books to read, etc.
