New Investor in Kirkland, WA - Starting with Live-in Flips, Aiming for Long-Term Rent

Posted

Hello BiggerPockets Community!

I'm excited to join this group of like-minded individuals passionate about real estate investing. As a beginner investor based in the Seattle metro area, I'm eager to learn from your experiences and share my journey as I get started in this field.

My current strategy is to focus on live-and-flip for the first three deals (looking for my second deal) to gain hands-on experience while building equity and learning the ins and outs of renovation and the local market. Once I've completed these initial projects and built up some capital, my long-term goal is to transition into buy-and-hold investments in potentially more affordable markets to maximize cash flow and scale up.

Right now, I'm particularly interested in investing locally here in the Seattle metro area. I love the PNW area and believe it has great potential for equity investments. If anyone has experience with the Kirkland market or live-and-flip projects in the Seattle metro area, I'd love to connect and learn more!

Looking forward to engaging with this community and soaking up all the knowledge I can. Feel free to reach out if you have any advice for a newcomer or if you're also investing in the Kirkland area!

Best regards,

Nando
