Hello BP family, my name is Devin, I am newly relocated to Tallahassee, Florida from Virginia. I am looking forward to meeting people from different aspects of the Real Estate Investing world. I am looking to focus my investing on the commercial space specifically value add apartment complexes. I am new to the commercial real estate investing world but have done a little dabbling with residential as a wholesaler. I have met some great people on my journey, and I am looking forward to meeting more great people here.

My relocation is a reset for me. I realize that commercial investing is more in-line with my goals, so I have wiped my slate clean and ready to start over from the beginning. I am looking to join a mentorship program to help lower my learning curve and until I find it, I am educating myself with books, as well as YouTube University and great advice from the BiggerPockets community.

I do work full-time in a career that I love and is very rewarding, but I also know I won't attain my goals with my current job. For now, my immediate goal is to pay off all of my credit card debt (should be accomplished by February 1.), and continue to educate myself on NOI, Cap rate, cash-on -cash return etc.

BP community, I am open-minded, willing to take initiative, always willing to be taught something new, but also ready to share any experience or knowledge I have that can help someone else. 

I am excited to begin this journey, and I hope to meet others just beginning their journeys or those who have blazed a trail already. Let's come together and do this!
