New To The Industry - LETS GO

Hi All,

Posted the below on in a couple other forums in hopes to get more eyes but this seems like the best one for people just like myself.

I have just started a career transition and excited to be getting into the real estate industry. Should of done it far sooner. Coming out from the Advertising industry in the city for the past 10 years i'm now situated out east on the north fork of Long island and looking for make moves in this region in real estate.

Looking to connect with likeminded people and start to grow a network and community around me. Currently i am getting up and running as a Real Estate Agent but i am extremely interested in pursuing other areas of real estate personally for real estate investments.

As a Realtor i'm looking connect with the following people and experts :

- Other Real Estate Agents - would even love to discuss mentorships if anyone has the time but if not just growing this community for me would be great.

- Investors / Rehabbers - You never know when i will stumble across a fantastic deal - would love to be able to keep in touch and send you market updates from my area. While off market deals may be your ideal scenario in securing an investment - lets discuss ways in which i can also possibly make that happen for you. 

Personal Standpoint

- Wholesalers - i would be interested in investing outside my region should there be an opportunity in fix and flip or BRRRR. It would be amazing to start to connect and get on peoples radars.

- Hard money lenders - as i grow into this space would love have contacts in this area and look forward to working together.

I am new to it all and look forward to connecting with anyone who was once where i was. Any advice or tips really appreciated and again excited to just start jumping into a community of likeminded people.
