Hello BiggerPockets community! I'm Emily from the Urbana/Champaign Illinois area, passionate about real estate investing for the past couple of years - passively, and the past 5 months or so - actively. I'm ready to make this happen and seeking my first property! I'm particularly passionate about cultivating an extremely tenant-satisfaction-focused mission in order to distinguish myself in the rental market. Particularly in a college town there are a lot of opportunistic property investors and low quality property managers. I want to create a different experience for my tenants.
Outside of real estate, I enjoy my day job as a psychologist and relationship coach. That's part of why I love the idea of being a relationship-forward investor & landlord. I want to make the world a better place through creating great, strong relationships!
