House hacked basement rental since 2017 and then turned that primary into full rental to buy new Primary and repeated HouseHacked Basement 2023.  Property manager helping to guide, and now stepping up to next level with networking.

Congrats! I am interested in doing the same. Can you tell me about any pitfalls you didn’t predict or anything you wish you knew before you started? How is renting your basement going? Is it short term or long term rental? Sorry for all the questions
