New to Bigger Pockets and Looking to Grow!

Good day fellow Bigger Pockets members. I am new to the group and am excited to grow my real estate investing network. My 35-year professional background is in commercial construction, mostly design-build with about a 60/40 split between design and construction. I am not sure if I want to pursue residential or small commercial investment/development yet. Hope to hear some pros and cons from the group to help me decide. My goal is to build a real estate portfolio that can generate either passive or active income well into my retirement (58 years old now). I've had many clients build commercial properties and make a good living off the revenue. Now its my turn, lots to learn...

Looking forward to hearing back from you!
