Newbie Searching for Opportunities

Hello everyone,

My name is Dorian Thomas and I am trying to get into real estate investing. I worked for a group of real estate investors when i lived in Phoenix Arizona for about 3 years before having to move closer to my family here in Columbia, SC. They were mostly fix and flippers who worked with tax foreclosures and HOA foreclosures

I have recently been doing research on tax liens and tax deeds, since they seem like the most realistic way for me to started with real estate investing. My goal is to own and rent out apartments.

My reason for turning to real estate investing is to eliminate the need for my 9-5 job. After losing my son and his mom, I realized that my time with him was cut even shorter because I had to spend most of my time at a job that I didn't even like. Now that have found my awesome girlfriend, I want to give her the things I was unable to give him. I feel like real estate is the right tool to reach that goal.

Thank you all for reading and I hope we can connect soon!
