I am currently working on my second income property. It is a bit of a fixer upper. I joined here to get more advice on screening and finding potential renters.

My first rental is a townhouse I lived in until I was able to upgrade into a single family. My real estate agent was a big help getting my first and current renter in there.

My long term goals will be to sell the townhouse and put that into a more profitable single family or multifamily unit. I won't be doing that until getting some reliable renters in the new place and doing some research on capital gains and loans/financing options towards an investment property.

So far I've signed up with myrental.com for screening but haven't started using it. Looking into a solid application and what is fair as far as fees and processes to finding my renter.
